Guests make their way to the machines as Turning Stone Resort Casino reopened on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, in Verona. The Oneida Indian Nation has opened its three casino locations on Wednesday as part of a phased approach to reopening. In the initial phase, the casinos will operate under a new Safer Together plan. The new guidelines include mandatory face coverings for staff and visitors in most areas, social distancing, enhanced cleaning protocols, no scheduled concerts until further notice and no visitors from outside a 120-mile radius. Point Place is the third New York casino of the Oneida Nation, which also owns and operates Turning Stone Casino Resort and the Yellow Brick Road Casino. The Oneida Nation began the first expansion project at Point Place Casino in Oct. This will expand the casino floor, add 100 more slot machines and add a Dealer School. Today, August, 1, 2019, the Oneida Indian Nation proudly opened The Lounge with Caesars Sports, the new sports book experience at Turning Stone and Point Place Casino, in development with Caesars Entertainment. Themed as the ultimate tailgate, the event welcomed Upstate New York sports fans in true fashion.
